The prompts I used to generate my tailored resumes were, “using my resume, generate an alternate pdf that enhances my skills as if I were applying for a finance position”  and “using my resume, generate an alternate pdf that enhances my skills as if I were applying for a sales position”. The AI used the skills I already had and twisted them in a way that was applicable to the certain position I was perusing. AI is an extremely helpful tool for enhancing work we have already done. While I don’t believe it’s smart to use AI to do work for you, it is a great tool for checking or improving work we did on our own. AI can be a great tool when used correctly.
